Unicity Global Convention’s theme is ‘The Power of One’ signifying unity and harmony among all our global markets. We have chosen a special Bibimbhap luncheon event on Friday, September 19 as a way to celebrate that unity and benefit the KACLC.
As one of the most popular traditional dishes in Korea, Bibimbhap is very colorful. The word literally means ‘mixed rice’ or ‘mixed meal’ and is first mentioned in a Korean cookbook from the late 19th century. The Bibimbhap is served as a bowl of warm white rice topped with several seasoned or raw vegetables such as bean sprouts, spinach, watercress, carrots, mushrooms, beef, a fried egg and gochujang (chile pepper soybean paste). The ingredients are stirred together thoroughly, then eaten with a spoon. |

We will prepare our Bibimbhap for 7,000 people at the Unicity Global Convention. This will be a new world record. All proceeds from the Bibimbhap will be presented to the Korean Association for Children with Leukemia and Cancer.
We expect the Bibimbhap to be a highlight and one of the most memorable events of the Global Convention. We invite everyone to share in the spirit of this event and truly show we are united to help Make Life Better for people all over the world. |
